Curriculum
The curriculum of the school is carefully balanced to meet the requirements of the National Curriculum as well as conforming to the principles of Islamic education. The emphasis is on providing a good education in a secure Islamic environment where pupils’ development is regularly monitored and assessed. The standard of teaching at Al-Hijrah has been officially recognised as being well above the national average.
Teachers aim to relate classroom teaching with examples in nature, and direct pupils’ minds to Allah (SWT) as the originator of all things.
